Smilecas Database Download Page 2012

Download files are provided in "zip" format ... these downloaded files must be "un-zipped" with common utility programs such as WinZip. 

Basic Instructions:
(1) Download a file by clicking on file name below (Note ... "Save" the file to your computer when asked)
(2) Un-Zip the file if it is a ZIP file

 SMILECAS Database Files:

SmileCasXLS.zip (file date 9-5-2012, 5.3 MB size): Microsoft Excel 2007 version of the SMILECAS Database ... Unzips to SmileCasXLS.xlsx ... Contains 115,408 rows.

SmileDbf.zip (file date 9-5-2012, 3.4 MB size): dBase III+ version of the SMILECAS Database ... can be imported directly into Microsoft Access or other databases ... unzips to SmileCas.dbf

Smiletab.zip (file date 9-5-2012, 2.5 MB size): tab-delimited text version of SMILECAS ... unzips to SmileCasTab.txt.  Can be imported into spreadsheets ... however, many spreadsheets have a limited number of rows (such as 65,000) and this file has 115,408 rows ... to use with a limited spreadsheet, open the text file with a text editor or word processor and save each half of the complete file to separate files and import the separate files into the spreadsheet.

  IsisSmil.zip (24 MB): MDL ISIS/Base (tm) version of the SMILECAS Database ... unzips to IsisSmil.db (about 40 MB in size) .... THIS IS AN OLDER VERSION (approx 1999).

  SmileSdf.zip (20 MB): SD File version of the SMILECAS Database ... unzips to SmileCas.sdf (nearly 200 MB in size) .... THIS IS AN OLDER VERSION (approx 1999).
